Additional Information
We have a purpose-built community building in Seaforth that serves as a home for the people we support, known as companions. Our community building can accommodate up to 28 companions, each having their own room and access to communal dining, catering, exercise, and training facilities.
At Emmaus Merseyside, everyone living in our community actively contributes to our social enterprise. They work either at our Charity Superstore or on the vans, and all the funds generated from our social enterprise are reinvested to support formerly homeless people living in our community building.
Emmaus Merseyside is dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness by providing them with a home, work in a social enterprise, and an opportunity to gain essential skills, build confidence, and receive training.
To become part of our community, individuals commit to working full-time in our social enterprise. However, the rewards are significant. We offer education, training, and personal development opportunities to help them on their journey towards securing their own home.
